1. The service
Wake Me Before Stop is an Android application that fires an alarm based on GPS proximity to a chosen transit station. By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms.
2. No safety guarantees
GPS accuracy varies with surroundings (tunnels, dense urban canyons, weather). The alarm may fire early, late, or fail to fire if the device loses location lock, runs out of battery, is force-stopped by the OS, or has location permission revoked. Do not rely on this app as the sole safeguard for missing a critical stop. The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
3. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary components beyond what is permitted by applicable law. Do not use the app to interfere with any transit operator’s safety systems.
4. Third-party services
The app uses Google AdMob to serve ads and Google Play Services to distribute updates. Their terms apply alongside ours.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including missed stops, missed appointments, or oversleeping.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material updates will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
